Naman Dhir Predicts Par Score for 3rd ODI in Mullanpur

Naman Dhir Predicts Par Score for 3rd ODI in Mullanpur

Naman Dhir, a right-arm spin bowler, was called up for his maiden ODI against the West Indies. He bowled a wicketless session in the first ODI, conceding 33 runs in five overs. He bowled 6.1 overs for 38 runs in the second ODI. So far, he has not been obliged to utilise the bat.

Prior to the third ODI, Naman Dhir discussed what he thought would be a competitive score at his home ground, Mullanpur.

The third ODI between India and the West Indies will take place on October 3, 2026, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.

This series is a dead rubber because India already holds a 2-0 advantage. For the venue, which will host its first ODI, the game is a significant milestone.

The youngster added that because India did not practise on the last day, he had not checked the pitch before making his prediction. His opinion was based on his understanding of how the new place typically prepares its pitches for international cricket. Although the pitch may tire after 20 to 25 overs of play, it is expected to suit batsmen in the first ODI.

Naman Dhir expressed his thanks for the opportunity to play on his home surface, where he has earned valuable experience.

He spoke on how surprising his selection was and how significant it was to represent India in a place he knew.

If given the opportunity to bat, Naman Dhir stated that he would not stick to a specific plan but would instead adopt a flexible approach. His batting strategy would be determined by the circumstances of the game as well as the team’s current demands.
