Peter Handscomb is conducting Australia A on a challenging tour of India in order to prepare for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy the following year. As part of the tour, Puducherry will host three 50-over matches and two four-day matches from September 22 to October 11.
The 35-year-old has encountered Indian bowling attacks in 11 Test matches during his international tenure. In 2023, he participated in all four of Australia’s previous tours of India.
Peter Handscomb provides an abundance of experience as the Australia A team prepares for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He demonstrated his exceptional domestic form by dominating the run-scoring statistics in the Sheffield Shield last season, scoring 724 runs at an average of 34.47.
